Banana, plenty benefits of tropical fruit



Long thick-skinned edible fruit that is yellow when ripe.

Wild forms of the banana plant come originally from the Indo-Malaysian area and are now cultivated all over the tropical and sub-tropical continents.

# Eat at least one banana a day, they are said to contain everything a human needs and they contain all the 8 amino-acids our body cannot produce itself.
# Bananas are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin C;
# Red bananas are often dried and converted to meal which is used in many ways;
# Red bananas contain more vitamin C as yellow bananas (the redder a fruit, the more nutritious elements it contains);

1. Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of haemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anaemia.

Pear fruit


 
Do you know this fruit? Sweet juicy fruit with a rounded shape that becomes narrower towards the stalk. The shape looks Like tinkerbell.The skin of the fruit ranges in color from green, yellow, red, brown, pink, or a combination of these colors. Pear flesh is white and juicy and grainy in texture.

Pears are picked when they are almost ripe. The fruit has to come off if you lift the fruit vertically.
The late races can be kept for months at a dark place.
Pears ripen best at room temperature. If you want too keep them a few days you have to keep them in a dark and cold place.

Normal pears are mostly eaten raw and taste great in desserts, the small cooking pears are always cooked and eaten as a vegetable or dessert.

# Pears contain much kalium and riboflavine;
# Pears are good for the skin and contain plenty of fibers;

# Pears are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, E1, copper.
# Pears are low in salicylates and benzoates and are therefore recommended in exclusion diets for allergy sufferers
# Pears can be useful in treating inflammation of mucous membranes, colitis, chronic gallbladder disorders, arthritis, and gout.
# Pears can also be beneficial in lowering high blood pressure, controlling blood cholesterol levels, and increasing urine acidity.

Most of the fiber is insoluble, making pears a good laxative. The gritty fiber content may cut down on the number of cancerous colon polyps. Most of the vitamin C, as well as the dietary fiber, are contained within the skin of the fruit.
